PESSAT APPLICATION FORM, PROCEDURE 2018

PESSAT application process 2018:

  • Admissions to courses like LLB and BBA at PES University is conducted through CLAT. But, candidates should register for PESSAT even if they have CLAT score or if they have applied for CLAT. After registering for PESSAT, they can upload their CLAT score on the website of PESSAT after the announcement of CLAT Results.
  • Similarly, admission to B. Arch course is done through NATA score. But, candidates should register for PESSAT compulsorily and then they can upload their NATA score.
  • For admissions to all B. E courses offered by PES University, candidates can apply through their CET and COMED-K scores. But, they should register themselves for PESSAT mandatorily.
  • To start with the application process, candidates will have to first register themselves with the Website of PESSAT. They can do so through the following link: PESSAT 2018
  • Through this page, they can book their slots to take up the entrance test for admissions to M. Sc Applied Economics, B. Des, BBA, MBA, MCA and M. Tech courses.
  • Candidates, who wish to register for multiple courses at the University, should use different email IDs every time they register at this page of PES University. They cannot use the same email ID to register for more than a single course admission through PESSAT.
  • Candidates are recommended to be highly careful in filling up the online application form. In the case of any lapse detected at the time of scrutiny, the candidature will be rejected at any time during the admission process or even at a later stage.
  • If a candidate submits more than a single online application form, the last filled and completed form will also be considered for further processing.
  • The processing of the application will happen on the basis of the information provided by the candidates.
  • Any error in the application will result in cancellation of candidates, regardless of whether it is done intentionally or unintentionally.
  • The application process is divided by the PES University into five parts as given below:
  • The First part encompasses the following steps:
    • The applicants will have to choose the course for which they wish to apply from the drop-down menu.
    • Then, they should enter their name
    • Then, should select the gender
    • DOB should be chosen from the drop down menu
    • Email Id of the applicant should be entered
    • Once these brief details are entered, they should click on the proceed button and then should click on the edit/confirm button on the page that shows the details they have entered.
    • Once the confirm option is chosen, they will see the web page with their personal details entered.
  • Then, they are taken to the second part of the application process:
    • In this process, they should enter all the particulars required in the online application form.
    • Once all details are entered, they will be taken to the part 3 of the application process as given below:
  • In this second part, the applicants will have to upload the recent passport size photo. So, they should have one ready for them.
    • They have the option to upload the photo later as well by providing their registration number, gender details, and DOB.
    • On completion of the second part, they will be moved to the third part, where they will have to make the payment.
  • Once the payment of application is made as per the details are given in the ‘application fee’ section, students can move on the 5th part of the application process.
  • In the final and 5th part, candidates can take print out of the application form by providing their DOB and registration number and gender details.

PESSAT Application fee:

  • Payment of examination fee for PESSAT is the fourth step of the application process.
  • The examination fee is Rs. 1050.
  • Students have the option to make online payment of the examination fee using net banking, credit or debit card.
  • They also can choose to make the payment of examination fee in the form of Demand Draft.
  • In the case of applicants choosing the online mode of fee payment, they should read the instructions carefully and should click on the agree button before to proceed to pay online.
  • Otherwise, they have the option to change the mode of payment with the help of ‘change the payment button’.
  • In the case of payment through DD, they should pay the fee through a nationalized bank by drawing a DD for the said amount. The DD should be drawn in favor of ‘PES University General Fund’ payable at Bangalore.
  • They should then enter the DD details like DD number, the name of the bank, the name of the branch, the name of the city and DD date in the online application.
  • Another option available to pay the required fee is through challan.
  • In this mode, applicants will have to take the print out of both the application form and the challan. Then, they should take both to the bank, where they will have to submit the hard copy of the application along with the copy of stamped challan.
  • Those making payment through challan should provide details about the challan in online application form.

Candidates paying through DD should send the printed application to the ‘Manager – Admissions’, Office of Admissions, PES University, 100 Ft Ring Road, BSK 3rd Stage, Bangalore – 560085.
