The counseling process will take place in three rounds. There will also be a special round called as spot round in the month of August 2017.
In the initial round of counseling, candidates other than those from the state of Rajasthan will be allotted seats on the basis of merit list.
In the second round, candidates from the state of Rajasthan with the domicile would be offered seat allotment on the basis of merit list.
The third round (upward movement) is for candidates from the state of same state and fall under the following categories:
Those who had their choice exhausted in the initial allotment round.
Those who report in the institution allotted and opt for upward movement through REAP 2017 website portal.
Those who do not report to the allotted institution after seat allotment shall become ineligible for upward movement.
Candidates from outside the state of Rajasthan are not eligible for upward movement.
However, they can participate or apply in spot or special round.
Candidates are recommended to decide on their email ID or mobile number before they apply for REAP-2017.
They should not change their email ID or mobile number in the process of counseling as all communications from the office of REAP-2017 should be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile number and email ID.
The default login ID for candidates will be their challan number of the first transaction when they pay the registration fee.
Candidates are recommended not to disclose their login ID and password for REAP-2017 to anyone.
The authorities of REAP will not be responsible for any damage or loss due to the disclosure of his/her login ID or password by a candidate to any other society/agency/institute or person.
For admission the first year of B.E/B. Tech courses, candidates should register through the official website of REAP-2017 inclusive of spot/special round only once.
Candidates may register based on the JEE Main 2017 rank as this rank will be given higher priority as compared to class 12 marks or percentile in creating merit list at all stages of counseling.
In case of candidates applying based on class XII percentile, they should compulsorily upload their class 12 mark sheet from a recognized board on the space provided in the REAP-2017 portal.
For admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Architecture course, candidates should register through REAP-2017 website. They should register through this website inclusive of spot or special round only once. They can register on the basis of JEE Main 2017 (paper-II) rank. This rank will be given higher priority on all stages of counseling for B. Arch in REAP-2017.
In case a candidate registers based on class XII mark or percentile, it is important for him/her to upload the class XII mark sheet from a recognized board on REAP website in the appropriate space provided for the same.
A Candidate under this category should compulsorily submit his/her National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA score conducted by the Council of Architecture.
The minimum pass score required is 80 out of 200 in NATA, which is common for candidates from all categories.
For admission to the first year of B. Arch course, a separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main 2017 paper II rank, Class 12 marks with 50% weightage plus NATA score with 50% weightage. NATA score can be from 2017 or 2016 examination. Admission to architecture course would be given based on the combined merit list in which better priority will be given to JEE Main (paper II) rank for 2017.
Candidates from states other than Rajasthan shall also be considered for admission to the first year of engineering courses. They have the option to apply to 15% seats in self-financing courses in Government aided engineering colleges in the state of Rajasthan and 15% of seats in private unaided engineering colleges in the state.
REAP Application fee:
The cost of REAP-2017 online registration/application is Rs.700.
Candidates can pay this fee through the web portal either through e-wallet, credit card, debit card, ATM or netbanking.
Fee once paid cannot be refunded or transferred or adjusted in the future under any circumstances.
The online application or registration form for entering the required details will become active automatically on successful payment of fee online through the REAP-2017 website.
Candidates will have to bear the transaction fee for online payment of examination/registration fee.
They will find the information about the transaction charges when they make the online payment.
Once the payment is done, candidates should take a note of their transaction number and should keep the same safe. This number is required if there is a transaction failure.
In general, it will take around 48 hours to sort out the issue if any related to transaction failure.
In addition to the admission fee, the applicants will also have to deposit a fee of Rs.10000 as advance fee before they fill up choice of course.
Mandatory Aadhaar number:
It is mandatory for applicants to have Aadhaar number for registering to REAP-2017.
If a candidate does not have Aadhaar number, he/she should register for the same and should mention in the Aadhaar acknowledgement receipt number in the application form and they should also upload the scanned copy of the acknowledgement receipt in the REAP-2017 portal in the appropriate space provided for the same.
Candidates cannot join the institution on the basis of this Aadhaar acknowledgement receipt. They should have their original Aadhaar card at the time of reporting to the allotted institution.
