  • SRMJEE stands for Sri Ramaswami Memorial Joint Entrance Examination.
  • It is conducted by SRM University.
  • The university has its campuses in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and NCR Ghaziabad.
  • The university offers various engineering courses which differ from campus to campus.
  • The test is an online mode will be conducted from 16 April 2018 to 30 April 2018. Click here to see the other important dates.
  • There are total approx. 7000 seats available in all the campuses.
  • Admission is based on the performance of the test held and marks received.
  • Different branches have different cut-off which needs to be achieved to opt for the branch.
  • Approx. 1.8 lakh examinees appear for the examination.

Generally, the paper is based on multiple choice questionswith single correct answers. However, JEE Advance has a section comprising of multiple correct answer and integer based answers. There may or maynot be negative marking.

Offline mode has an advantage that we are used to pen paper method since beginning. Similarly, we can quickly go through the different sections and start by setting the preferences. But in case of online mode, one can see one question at a time and is forced to start from the first question.
