GET ANSWER KEY OF TS ICET 2018 EXAM
TSICET is a state level entrance test conducted in the Telangana State. The test is for admission to the MCA and MBA courses offered by universities and colleges in the state.
What is an Answer Key?
In general, after the TSICET test is conducted by the Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education, a preliminary answer key is released. This generally happens within a day or two after the test.
Can Test Takers Raise Objections?
Yes, not just the test takers, but also any other concerned person can raise objections for the preliminary answer key published on the official website of TSICET. Generally, a week’s time is given for raising objections after the release of the preliminary answer key.
Is a Final Answer key Published?
After the last date to raise objections, the final answer key is released by the organizing authority within two days.
How will the Answer key Help Test Takers?
The answer key will help test takers to judge their score in the TSICET. The key will have the correct option for all 200 questions in the TSICET. Along with the question number, the correct option number is given in the answer key for all four sets of question papers. They should arrive at the decision based on the qualifying cut-off score. Here is a chart to show the cut-off score to be secured by general and other non-reserved candidates to qualify in TSICET:
Qualifying Cut-off for General Category Candidates:
From this chart, it means that out of the total mark of 200, the general and other unreserved category candidates should secure 50 marks (25%). There is no qualifying percentage applicable to SC, ST and other reserved category candidates.
So, general category candidates can use the answer key to determine whether they will secure the minimum qualifying percentage to qualify for admission through TSICET.
