The results of TSICET 2018 will be out on the 30th of May 2018
The final key will also be released along with the results on the same day.
The qualifying mark for TSICET 2018 is 25%, which means that candidates must secure minimum 50 marks out of the total 200 marks.
There is no such minimum qualifying mark applicable for SC/ST candidates.
In the order of their merit, candidates will be given state-wide ranks at the TSICET 2018
In the process of preparing the merit list, if more than a single candidate scores the same rank, the tie will be resolved in the following ways:
At the first instance, marks secured in section A will be considered.
If after this, the tie is not resolved, marks in section B will be considered.
If there is still a tie, the age of the candidates will be considered, where the candidate with older age will be given the higher ranking.
The rank obtained in TSICET 2018 is valid for admission to the MCA/MBA courses regardless of the type of course like distance, evening, a part-time or a full-time course of all universities in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2018-2018 only.
Every care will be taken during the evaluation process to avoid errors. The same will be followed in checking, scrutinizing answer sheets, and tabulation and in ranking.
A request for re-verification will be entertained on payment of Rs.1000 in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Convener, TSICET 2018 payable at Warangal. The demand draft can be drawn in any nationalized banks within 15 days from the date of declaration of results. The re-valuation will not be entertained after this date.
The OMR sheets of test takers will be preserved for six months from the date of declaration of results.
Any issues arising out of any matter pertaining to the test will be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Courts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states only.
Candidates called for counseling will have to report at the notified centers.
At the time of counseling, there will be certificate verification for admission to the MCA and MBA courses.
The schedule of counseling will be notified by the competent authority at a later date.
TSICET 2018 Cut-off:
Candidates can judge the cut-off marks for TSICET 2018 based on the past trend
The Cut-off is going to be the base core based on which the B-schools will be offering admission to students.
The cut-off score for admission will be determined by each participating university on their own and might vary from one institution to another.
The cut-off will be decided by the universities based on different factors like the number of test takers, the difficulty level of the test and also the number of questions in the test.
It is expected that the cutoff for TSICET 2018 will be similar to that of the previous year
