WBJEE APPLICATION FORM, PROCEDURE 2018

  • Application for WBJEE will be submitted online through the portal from the first week of January 2018.
  • Candidates are recommended to go through the information bulletin carefully before they attempt to apply online.
  • Any application that is not in compliance with the conditions specified in the information bulletin will be rejected summarily.
  • Candidates are recommended to remember that all their future communications from and to will be done through their registered mobile number and email ID alone. Communication from candidates from any other email or mobile number cannot be considered official or genuine. So, the same will be ignored.
  • The board will not be responsible for non-receipt of any communication by the candidate if the mobile number or email Id is found changed/non-existing or wrong.
  • Once they fill up the registration details like the DOB, mother’s name, father’s name and the name of the candidate are entered and submitted; candidates cannot make any changes to these details under any circumstances. Also, these details should match exactly with the school admit cards, category/caste certificate, photo identity cards certificate and mark sheets.
  • Candidates are recommended not to attempt to make any duplication application
  • They should not share their application number, security question or answer, and password with anyone.
  • They should upload their scanned copy of left-hand thumb impression, signature, and photograph as per the details are given in the information bulletin.
  • Other than the basic details, any changes to be made to the application should be done within the window dates provided under important dates. Corrections will not be possible thereafter.
  • If a candidate receives an email or SMS about the discrepancy in the signature/photography/thumb impression uploaded by him/her. They should take immediate action within a day.
  • Candidates are recommended to ensure that they fill up genuine details in the application at http://wbjeeb.nic.in
  • Once the application process is completed as per the instructions, candidates are recommended to keep copies of confirmation page for future reference.
  • The format of photography, left-hand thumb impression, and signature should be as follows:

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for WBJEE 2018 is Rs.500. Candidates will have to bear the appropriate bank charges as well. They can pay through net banking or credit or debit card.
  • Candidates can also pay the fee in cash mode with the help of Allahabad Bank e-Challan.
  • As soon as they choose the cash payment option, the system will automatically generate an e-challan, which should be downloaded by the candidates. The same should be printed and should be taken to the Allahabad bank for depositing the fee in cash in any branch of the bank with Core Banking Services.
  • The payment status will be updated online and so candidates can find the ‘OK’ button immediately after making the payment.
  • However, in some cases, it might take some time to show up this button due to the network delay in bank side or failure in the transaction at the Electronic Payment Gateway.
  • If a candidate does not find the ‘OK’ button immediately after making payment, he/she should do the following:
    • In case they made the payment through e-challan, they can get in touch with the bank branch immediately.
    • If the payment was made through credit/debit card or net banking, and there was a failure of the transaction at EPG, candidates are recommended to make the payment once again. In this case, they will get the first transaction money back to their account.
    • They are recommended not to wait until the last day to make the fee payment to avoid payment failure by bank or EPG.
  • Candidates are recommended to remember that the application process will not complete until they see the confirmation page.
